Unity Concert: Your Vote Rocks
No, we're not trying to bring Pawnee and Eagleton together, but we do want to encourage Dallasites of all beliefs to vote! At the Dallas Unity Concert, you'll hear live bands, meet a li'l horse and even be a part of a karate dance party. While you're here, you can also register to vote, learn about candidates and learn your voting rights.
Join work/shop in creating a collaborative mural where everyone makes their mark! Choose a part of the Dallas skyline to color in with crayons or oil pastels. As more drawings are added to the mural, the more the picture comes together. When a community creates together, anything is possible! All ages welcome and all materials are provided.

Eclipse Sunprints
On April 8, 2024, Dallas will be the largest city in the path of totality for the Great North American Eclipse. The moon will blot out the entire sun for a total solar eclipse and, for a few minutes, it will look and feel like twilight.
Join work/shop at Klyde Warren Park to make a sun print or cyanotype, a photographic blueprint exposed by the power of the sun! work/shop will be in attendance with other activity providers like the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, and many other family-friendly activities will be available. See you there!

Block Print Workshop with THRIVE
This is a private workshop for THRIVE, a program of the Resource Center. THRIVE is a support group for LGBTQIA+ adults ages 50+ to socialize and interact while exploring issues such as combating isolation, grief, and loss, coming out, aging gracefully, retirement, and other societal aging issues. Zine Making 101 is a three-day camp full of prompts and projects to get your zine making projects started. we’ll have a copier available for everyone to make multiple editions of their self-published books to share with family, friends, and classmates! all supplies are included in the registration fee.
