work/shop envisions a vibrant community that is both invested in and shaped by the creative ambitions of young people.
Founded in 2022, work/shop hosts classes, open studios, and events for youth ages 8-19 in the Dallas area focused on art making and arts entrepreneurship. We are the proud organizers of the Dallas Teen Artists Market, and hope to create more spaces where young artists have access to all the tools they need to make art and build creative careers with the support of their peers and adult mentors.
We’re currently operating as a mobile art studio, so you can find us popping up at libraries and community centers. Check our calendar to see where we’ll be next!
